"Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goal."
Henry Ford
When I think about goals, I often think about the biblical story of Peter walking on water. He was doing fine as long as he kept his eyes on where he was going, to Jesus, his goal. But when he noticed everything else happening around him, the storm, the waves, his friends in the boat and the fact that he was actually walking on top of the water, he began to sink. And it wasn't until he fixed his eyes back on Jesus, his goal, that he was saved.

Napolean Hill said "A goal is a dream with a deadline". I myself truly believe that a goal is just a dream until it is written down. Once we put our goals in writing we are that much closer to achieving them. The second year that I was selling real estate, back in 1989, I was challenged to write down my goals, so I did, and that was all I did with them,I tucked them in a drawer and never looked at them again until about 6 months later when I was looking for something else and came across the note of goals I had written and found, to my surprise that I had actually accomplished some of them. WOW!!! Imagine how I would have done had I actually worked on them.
That brings me to my purpose for writing on this topic. I NEED HELP!!! There is all kinds of information regarding setting goals and accomplishing goals on the internet but what I have come to realize is: I need accountability. Perhaps you do to, so here is my proposal. I have been reading about Master Mind Groups and would be very interested in starting a group to help members focus on attaining their goals. It is only in the planning stages at this time but this group could meet on a scheduled basis to discuss each others goals and offer tips on attaining goals as well as hold each other accountable to our goals. The goals can be personal, spiritual, financial or vocational, the sky is the limit.
If you are interested in discussing this further, I would love to hear from you. Please fill out the form below and I will get in touch with you.
