Well, this page has been sitting empty long enough and I have been dwelling on the subject, "Now what" for quite some time. So this morning, at my B2B networking meeting, I announced that I was going to start preparing myself for my retirement career.
Over the course of the next 5 years, I intend to practice and learn writing techniques to ghost blog and write short articles, which in turn will create some income for me and give me something to occupy my time. My announcement was welcomed with heart felt applause, thank you everyone! Through some online research and personal interviews with colleagues, I have determined there is a need for individuals like myself who want to write for someone else. Take for instance, the networking marketing professional who has a really good business going but wants to grow it in other ways. I asked her why she doesn't blog and she told me she did not have a personal website and that she didn't really have the time. So I addressed these 2 issues with her. 1. No website. Well that isn't completely true. Network Marketing companies offer their entrepreneurs a website where individuals can sign up or order products, but each individual cannot personalize that website. So why not create their own website, to talk about them self which would link to the company website. This can help tremendously for the individual to create a personal relationship with interested customers and business partners. In turn, blogging can drive readers to the personal website or the product website. 2. No time. That is where I come in. Let's say you network market with a company selling essential oils, just an example here. So you meet with me to allow me to "interview" you and I learn some of your everyday sayings to incorporate into your blog that I will be writing, to make it sound more like you. During this 1 on 1, something we should all be doing to grow our business, I also learn about a specific product you sell and what it does, maybe even get a story of how it helped someone. I then go to work and put it in a nice blog format and send it to you, you then publish it under your name, attach it to your website and post it all over social media for everyone to read. Don't forget, I also embed links to your personal website and the company website in the blog to make it easy for readers to find out more about you (your personal page) and your products (the company website). So now you are definitely wondering, what would all this cost. Well, I think I need to save that for another article. Hopefully you will be interested and read again. |
